History & Director Biography
Glencoe Learning Center opened in 2003 through a desire to fulfill the community’s need for additional, quality childcare. Since its opening, Glencoe Learning Center has endeavored to be more than simply a childcare facility. Because of this, Glencoe Learning Center provides a high standard of early education for children and childcare. Glencoe Learning Center seeks to provide a loving, structured environment which allows children to excel, socially and academically. Glencoe Learning Center strives to provide resources for parents in all areas of childrearing, covering topics such as nutrition and discipline. Counseling and training opportunities are available to help parents expand their knowledge. Combined, the Glencoe Learning Center staff has more than forty years of childcare and early education experience. Its staff’s experience, coupled with its high standards, allows Glencoe Learning Center to be more than simply a daycare; instead, it is a place of learning.

Wanda Conley
Director
Wanda has served as Director of Glencoe Learning Center since its opening in 2003. Wanda holds a Child Development Associate’s degree (CDA) and has a combined 200 hours of early education training. Addtionally, she is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International, also the licensing agency for Glencoe Learning Center. Wanda and her husband, Thomas, are dedicated members of Glencoe Baptist Church. They have two children, Elizabeth and Thomas, who attend Glencoe Classical Academy.
